Battle of Los Angeles

   Artillery shells bombarded the skies over Los Angeles. The climate of the west coast was one of high alert. Still reeling from the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and the Bombardment of Ellwood on February 23, The sightings of a UFO ignited the tensions around Los Angeles. The night of the 25th started out with blinking lights and a total blackout; it ended with over 1,400 rounds.
